This new form of nfs looks cool and filled with graphics to draw in unknown gamers to their demise. It is, the fact that they will come to realize, that this idea will become boring quickly. To me this is an upgrade from nfs Undercover. I respect the hard work they put into this game however it is not completely what us hardcore nfs most wanted fans want. In the previous instalment, i was gripped to the story line and determine to reach the top, only because some sucker told my car "bmw" and i want it back. Now if this game is only base on score it wont be enough to keep me going. without intriguing customization it wont be enough to amaze me, if it doesn't have free home setup like underground two and a game-play where even after I win a race I am still lively chase by cops instead of them disappear like "undercover" then I wont be nervous and constantly thinking how to get away. bottom line EA needs a poll where gamers can share how different parts of gameplay ignites there emotions and another poll that shares what doesn't work. And we beg you please listen adapt then be creative.
@Descabar A pursuit in Most Wanted looked exactly like this: Cops everywhere and a lot of chaos. Don't forget this is only a trailer... Probably showing only a small part of what the game will be. If it's called Most Wanted 2 then I guess there will be at least a story, car tuning & free roam. EA had to stick with the winning formula of Underground 2 & Most Wanted, but failed with a lot of boring sequels. I hope this one is the game we were looking for when Carbon came out!
@F0U666 Exactly, After all those failed sequel this is why I am worried. This trailer doesn't reignite that fire we fans have been longing for. It only reminds us of everything else that had failed or bored me. I say they get creative with the trailer and include every thing that we have been waiting for. A mean the game comes out in October and there are games releasing next year already have great cinematic trailers. Why the hell they haven't gone viral with great trailers and more info. Tease us and get us pumped up honestly what they have so far just ain't good enough. Or better yet, take another 6 months to polish up the game instead of rushing it. Anyhow, I love the franchise and I wish the best for them seriously I hope this is instalment is good.
Seriously... EA, please Forget NFS... its lost all its awesomeness... it aint what it used to be... Hot Pursuit was awesome... but you murdered the series with Run... why not reboot RoadRash? That would be a lot better....
Bah , this shouldn't be called most wanted , "The Most Wanted" was that game whit cool graphics and customisations after another big game called "Underground 2".
its nice to see online competition but it really can't be the focus if the series has so far been more of a single player experience. having leaderboards if your friends don't play seems a waste. but good job on bringing open world again. hope there is customization too but doesn't look like it's there :(
Looked like another fvkin Burn Out crap with car from NFS. Wat is wrong with good old fashion Underground Street Racing + Lots of modifications & a good story like the original MW? If I wanna driving recklessly to create chaos in the city than would rather play GTA. At least, u got people to run over too.
@Lynghiepminh your comment is immature, brutish and outright stupid. you have no idea what you're talking about and you sully the name of "gamer". gtfo
this is a racing game, gta is a shooter, i know that in gta your mothly in a car but you dont race that much and when you do a race its piss easy, i know that the new mw isnt going to be as good simply because the cheesyness of the original is what made it good and thats what nfs is missing, the last good cheesy game they made was carbon, i liked prostreet, but everyone i know hated it, maybe its becausethey were crap at it and im awesome at it, I dont think there going to pull it off, undercover was very much like mw but it failed, burnout is probably my favourite street based racing game series, hot pusuit was criterion and it was very good, dont know about the run, didnt notice criterion on the cover, i think it was made by dice or black box, i know they were shown when you started the game, anyway its going to be good and you can probably change the bodykit on the car when you choose the colour like you do in the run
Very happy to see them bring back the open world driving after the race is done. the "levels" of hot pursuit made me think I was in the 90s or something...Also, I hope they don't start you off with a car that goes over 155. Make me earn it!
Looks Great, but I'm probably gonna pass. Most likely it won't have split-screen, and that's the only reason I get racing games. Fun to sit on the couch and race against friends with pizza and beer. I'll probably have to pass.
They keep saying "To compete to be the top of the Blacklist" which gets me excited but then they say "amongst your friends".
I'm on PC and pretty much everyone I know has a console or doesnt like racing games. I want some decent single player like Most Wanted and not something like Burnout Paradise (not hating on Paradise as I LOVE that game but this should be different).
Also, car customisation is something that increased my playtime by many hours. Its a huge amount of fun to make your cars unique and to show off your creativity.
If these 2 things arnt in the game, it will be a no-buy for me.
I wish they add a "Realistic" mode where you can't run a light pole or a public seating bench and continue like nothing or refilling nitro just by doing "stylish" movement, rear-ending a car while going anything more than 40kmh should do some serious damage..
I know this is a game but this mode would be totally interesting and VERY challenging.. Of course the AI should behave realistically as well and try to avoid collisions.
All it needs is the garage customization and offline multiplayer. This looks great to be honest, just needs those components. Oh, and a top xxAmount of Blacklisters/Opponents.
@reyshan Customizing a luxury sports car is something that should never happen unless it's a track car. Adding nitrous is already an insult. I'm assuming it's up to the car manufacturers, they already don't allow vehicle damage. The closest thing to customization will most likely be stock paint.
@HIT3kNology I don't really like assuming things but I guess you haven't played the original Most Wanted. They didn't care if it was luxury or not. They made every car customizable because they want their car unique and put more power into it. It is an arcade game not a simulation game like the Shift series.
@reyshan The original most wanted's customization level was a joke compared to its predecessors. I want the level of customization of underground 2. If manufacturers don't want us to customize a Lambo, then don't put one in the game. I'd much rather spend hours being creative on a 370z for example
@rynthoms @HIT3kNology I am just pointing out what HIT3kNology doesn't get. We, gamers who played the original Most Wanted, want the things that made Most Wanted famous and some other extra stuff. Thats all.
