New Dawn: It's Too Soon For Another Far Cry Game

Yet your fine with any and all of the other yearly games like CoD. God the sheer amount of goddamn Fortnite clones is getting ridiculous. I think your advertising is showing. Under the thumb much? This is why your "reviews" are less then worthless.

Really? Too soon? Have we not SEEN the direction Ubi, EA and Activision are going? They've basically gutted and tossed out anything that can't be effectively annualized/biannualized. From now on, everything's going to be too soon, as they milk what little they have left dry before the execs jump out of the burning planes with their golden parachutes.

I don't know if it's too soon for another open world shooter, because Rage 2 looks like it might be pretty sweet, but I think Far Cry 3 is played out. They've made basically the same game about 4 times now, and it got old. Far Cry 3 was real good, 4 was technically better but after 3 just more of the same. 5 ... I don't know if that was an improvement at all, just fine but, again, done all that. Now it's 6 years and about 120 gameplay hours after Far Cry 3 and we're still kinda just doing the same old stuff in New Dawn.

Time to rethink Far Cry again, Ubisoft. You've done it before, and done it well, so I'm sure you can figure something out for Far Cry 6 in 2021. Maybe start with taking longer than 2 years.

It's too soon for me to consider another Far Cry. If this was included (and it really should have been IMO) in the seasons pass then I would likely play it but I'm not shelling out the £35 when there are better games out there.

This will be in the bargain bins faster than EA can add in more mtx's to Apex: Legends.
