New Super Mario Bros. Wii Stage Demo

This game was really great! New Super Mario Galaxy Bros. anyone? Gameplay will be similar to that of << LINK REMOVED >>, with a focus on platforming based on and around 3D planets with varying sizes and landscapes.

I'm looking forwards to this game, thought I won't buy it immediatly I will get it to play at friend reunions or just with my family, looks like a LOT of fun in multiplayer!

This game looks perfect! I understand the two toads cause they can't have peach as the usual 4th cause you're trying to save her. I'm stoked for some old school 2D

There needs to be shy guy.. either as an enemy or a player he has'nt been in a plat former since forever.

Just building on what Kangullia said... Why two toads... Why can't we have wario or waluigi instead... But it looks good although it could be much better

The game shouldn't pause every time someone powerups or dies, because it makes the game seem laggy

Also, why the toad guys? They should include some more iconic Mario characters.

I could see how this game could get boring quick. Don't get me wrong, I'm a Nintendo fan through and through, however they could do much better.

Very excited for this game! Mario co-op is going to be a freakin' blast! I will also enjoy this game solo, I am sure of it. The graphics look really good for a 2D-platformer. The penguin suit brings my favorite animal to my second favorite video game franchise. Mario + Penguin suit = Sweet!

New Super Mario Bros was good on DS and it could do with a coop on Wii

This game will be great, I'm kinda glad there not making this online cause then you just get a bunch of stupid people either killing you or just trying to get on your nerves but if there sitting in the same room as you, you can punch em in the shoulder :D :D but I really hope they make it so you can use other controllers I only have two wii motes

Gameplay's cool, but typical crappy Wii graphics brings it down. Looks fun though.

No online co op = instant fail.

I want to play this game the classic way, I think its more fun to play with only one character but who knows, maybe its more exciting with friends. But I still wanna be able to play by myself.

This game looks fun. Hate to compare this to little big planet but just want to mention that when I was playing online with people who cant really play the game and lag behind does frustrate me, mainly because of camara zooms in and out constantly and i hated it. hope this game has strong single player as well as more characters with their own special advantages as well; not to mention need all 4 players abilities to finish the game 100%, now that would be more fun rather than competing score at the end of stage.

@Rottenwood: You took the words right out of my mouth. They should have went with the SMB 2 Configuration: M, L, Toad (original toad in red), Princess (I am assuming she is captured). Even Mallow and Geno would have been more desirable, or Wario and Waulaigi.

Will I be buying beer and playing this game ad nauseum with my rowdy nerd friends? That's an affirmative. Only gripe is having two Toads as players. The Mario universe has dozens of familiar faces; you really need to use the same one twice? Hilarious video; some of the worst Mario playing I've ever seen. Damn kids can't handle 2D.

@daveg1 The whole game is new, its not just a NSMB DS remake for Wii. Did you not see the levels and new power ups?

This game looks promising, needs the cape and fox tail power ups form previous games. It sucks that you can't play it with a classic controller, i would have bought a wii just for this game if not for that. If they make a classic style controller with motion technology (kinda like the ps3 controller) then I might buy a wii, but i wouldn't want to play a classic plat former with the wii stick. I just don't think it works.

I think the old marios are better, but this game is going to make plenty of other people happy, but I'm not to keen.
