NHL 12 - Exclusive Legends Sizzle Trailer

I love how EA comes up with these amazing new revolutions when in reality they're just recycling their OWN old gameplay features. Remember back in NHL 97 when if you would create "Wayne Gretzky" his likeness and all his stats would possess the create-a-player? Same with Gordie Howe? What's next EA, you're finally going to add the correct goalie masks to the NHL goalies? Because you did that back in '97 too. I'm sure i'll spend hundreds of countless hours playing NHL 12 this coming year regardless, but honestly they never make any significant changes to the games they pump out and they're robbing us all every year.

@rob101 Totally not just you, man. This has gimmick written all over it.... just like the Centennial Habs team. I think I played with that team twice since it's been in the game... and I'm a die hard Habs fan! Options like this just stick out like a sore thumb on a game that's supposed to be a hockey sim. Whatever, though. I suppose I can see the appeal, so I'm not knocking it. I'm just gonna avoid it completely, because this game has plenty of other stuff to offer! =)

I am far more excited to have the Winnipeg Jets in the game than legends...

@YoungCardinal, What are you talking about, last years version was the best yet.

@Shenji06 I'm sure the selective options for the Legends were chosen purposely by EA. That way it gives them leverage for next years title to include the likes of Darryl Sittler, Maurice Richard, Jacques Plant, Phil Esposito, Mike Bossy. Theres been a lot of great players over the years. Personally I don't care for playing with Legends. Just a gimmick to try to get more sales. The NHL series is getting duller each year now. EA has no competition now so their milking their Sports franchises worse than before. @Jibroni: Kinda hard not to be with no competition...

It may just be me, but who really wanted legends in the game, I could not care-less about this, and there is no way i would ever place them on my team or work to unlock them

one or two of these legends are questionable really chris chelios ? It is nice they gave the leafs are all star but bjorn salming really ? Hopefully they have more legends then just this what about mike bossy , cam neely , maurice richard or any of the other deserving legends. Few years back the all time montreal canadiens add a bigger legend team then this quite dissapointing.
