Watching the DHL car win the Indy 500 I knew I had seen his car before on Gamespot.

I thought this guy looked familiar! He just won the Indy 500

@bahamut_au unfortunately most commercial entertainment (tv, websites, etc) pretends commercials are legitimate content.

The Forza 5 PR stuff is a little bothersome but interesting nonetheless.

:S So much vitriol in the comments! Keep in mind, on a primarily western game site there's bound to be more content from Microsoft aimed at native English speaking territories as opposed to Famitsu and the Asian media where Nintendo and Sony no doubt dominate.

Sadly, I agree with the criticism of Mike's performance, it was a bad decision on someones behalf to get him in here, he's aPro FIFA Gamer, and out of his league here; labeling any player that's a pro in a specific field as a"Pro" Gamer is setting our expectations of them too high across the board, it doesn't do justice to the people that are experts in this genre and it must be frustrating for the real Pro Forza Gamers to watch him get torn apart knowing they could do a better job and are more deserving of the camera time.

Maybe Chobot should've been playing instead? By the way, Chobot on GameSpot...OH YES! Can we please give her some things to lick now? :D

Also, less "oh it's so pretty on Xbox, it's the dominant console!" talk would be appreciated in the future, I'll take the 1080p cross platforms on the PS4 thanks!

This isn't a show, this is a XBox One ad in disguise. For shame Gamespot...

the idea for the show is promising but it's overly long, i don't care about the racer, i just wanna see them go at it.

They should have had internal damage on so they wouldn't play bumper cars. And I think it was clear the gamer had never played the game before, he couldn't even take a corner.

lol pro gamer. And real race driver. I remember in Forza 4 when Turn 10 had Juan Montoya set a time around Indianapolis in a Corvette ZR1. A lot of us beat him and we weren't pro gamers... Or real race drivers. Yeah, just gamers and good drivers.

Without knowing what this series was at first I thought the pro racer would do an actual lap, and a pro racing gamer would go against his lap time on the xbox.

Where is that realism that they said? Cars on track are really bad, very unrealistic.

"Pro" Gamer...right. I'm no "pro" by any means but I would have done much better than that. It may not have been his style of game but wouldn't it have made more sense to pair up a racer with a pro that plays racing games.

That was funny how the pro-gamer bragged about racing a viper not knowing the pro-racer drove Vipers.

I can race better than both of them full lines off and racing with clutch full simulation, everything off

I see Lots of sheep are commenting today. How about you dont jump in to the ditch when your fiends do hey? maybe try using your own brains? This show is actually ok, so what if its different tone to the other GS shows, variety is the spice of life.

The concept of the video is actually a good idea.I think its interesting to see if a real athlete can transfer his real life sporting skills from his chosen sport in to a video game of his sport. The best way to test his skills is to find a pro gamer, who HASNT played that game before but has very good general video game skills.

This way both guys have same experience with the game and its the guy who can transfer his skills the fastest that will decide who wins.

Maybe they haven't actually got the test portion down perfect yet, but then at least they trying.

Yes it doesnt hurt that i loved Mass Effect 3 and think JC is greatest thing sliced bread. I also dont care if they hype the game a bit, as the show isnt really about reviewing games its about the test.

So get a grip guys, and dont be sheep.

Very nice show, but seems to be Microsoft advertising. However, it's a nice move to get professional people praising your system and exclusives.

The point of the show is to showcase the new console and games in a different way and I get what some of you are stating in the comments but keep in mind there are all kinds of people that visit GameSpot. Some are much more casual when it comes to games, shows like this are fun and entertaining to them. I don't see anything wrong with content that is geared towards those kind of users. Especially when the site creates content for all kinds of gamers, it makes sense to try to include everyone into the mix.

So mike has to play dirty to win. lol what a loser
