Random Encounter - Half-Life Deathmatch

Although counter-strike turned out to be a great mod i always thought it was a bit sad that it made my friends stop playing half-life multiplayer in LAN's. Loved the weapons in the game.

Suprised you think the rocket launcher was the best weapon though, i always found it to be too slow and too hard to use without hitting yourself in close quarters.

Practically never used the crossbow without the zoom, the non explosive bolts was just alot more powerful.

Snarks where alot of fun when you knew someone was camping somewhere behind a corner (although the satchel charges where probably alot better for that)

When i started playing the game with friends i won games just by using the crossbar, most of them where new to multiplayer shooters so they would just panic when someone ran straight at them swinging the crossbar at that insane speed.

Oh and the hilarity of seeing a bunch of people trying to get through the bunker doors at the same time when the nuke was launched (Or placing a satchel charge on the nuke button and setting it off when you heard the alarm). Oh the memories!

Awww... I so much hoped for nuke-trolling, but it turned out to be some kind of custom made crossfire map. Still - hilarious episode. Brought so many great memories. Thanks :)

Man, I had so much fun with HL Deathmatch, probably only played CS 1.6 more than it, I used to care about MP that time. Great choice, Danny! Also the map that started at 5min was my favorite, I think it was called Big Box, or something
