Red Dead Redemption 2 is a massive game stuffed with lots of detail. It can feel overwhelming at first, and part of the reason why is because the game doesn't tell you everything you need to know.
We've spent a lot of time with Rockstar's open-world PS4 and Xbox One game, and in a new video feature, GameSpot's Jess McDonell walks you through a number of tips and details that the game doesn't tell you--and that you need to know.
In the video, Jess covers things like how to find side-missions, why it's important to keep an eye out for rising smoke trails, and the importance of keeping your Arthur fed and happy. Jess also covers things like where to sell stolen goods, why it's effective to do a barrel roll in combat, and the importance of calming a wild horse down before trying to saddle up.
The video goes much further, helping explain things like what you can do at the Gunsmith, how RDR2 connects to the first game, the best ways to hunt, and how to tailor the HUD to provide the best experience possible.
Be sure to watch the full video above to get all the important details, as it also covers things like fishing 101, the morality and honor system, and plenty more. For more on RDR 2, check out GameSpot's review and all of our previous coverage here.
