Star Wars: The Old Republic - Game Features Video

@ skitchrick I play most online games solo and i was looking forward to the same things, but instead of housing they have personal ships with crew members that can collect / journey with you on missions. The part the interests me the most is that many of the previous star wars games like knights of the old republic Were story driven, and since the whole game is story driven then its like a continuous version of one of those. Usually story driven games are solo but since its an mmo then you should be either play solo or with friends and i dont think itd make too much of a difference :)

Its crazy how many are either trolling or complaining about a game they obviously haven't spent 10 mins looking into...i dont know but maybe you should check out the game's site before you come here and annoy/bore/whine.

@ skitchrick Maybe you should inform yourself before you whine? Obviously there is crafting, and the game is quite soloable. And good to hear that some ppl "like the game more less now", whatever that is supposed to mean...oO

The game is taking so long to come out that the hype is now dead. I'm liking this game more less now.

What about crafting, housing, player towns and vendors and is it wide open and able to be solo'd? I really wish they'd just swallow their pride and rip off SWG. That was such a good game... before the Sony destroyed it.

if they have that song they had in the first movie while Han and Luke were at the cantina that that alien band was playing, I will buy this game for the sole reason of being able to dance to it looping over and over again without any change of song.

So I went to my local Gamestop and on the pre-order list it says that this is coming out in January of 2012. I think we've been had. :(

EURGH! Bioware using their Jedi mind-trick to utterly decimate my real-world social life. Ah well. by the looks of things there's going to be a LOT of people to get-to-know on these servers once they're live. this is going to be big. very big.

@Marques123 They confirmed on G4 that it will come sometime in 2011.

The system looks a bit outdated (graphics for example), but I am more interested in the story, and the game play than how good it looks per-say. This should give Warcraft a bit of a run on the MMO scale, but I see those people sliding over and playing this game too.

Had to laugh at the "vehicles" at 1:32...looks like he's moving about as fast as a Segway. Rest of it looks pretty good.

@MN121MN - this game is a MMO...it is "only" played online....quests can be done solo (or you can team up with others if you wish) but it's still on a "live" server with other players. Certain parts of the game like PvP...flashpoints...operations will require you teaming up with other players.

Nice! I just can't wait to get my hands on this game. I hope it is actually released in 2011.

Everyone, I only have one question Can you play this online? if i know Bioware, they would make a single player campaign, so is it available in this game? Please send me this answer in a message to my profile...

@Azuremoons Cool, thanks for the info. I finished reading the SW: TOR Fatal Alliance novel and never guessed that the Jedi in the book and in the Hope trailer was Satele until I saw the Return Intro along with this and made the connection, just wasn't sure. I agree, I am impressed. TOR does look more polished.

I really cannot wait, I hope it's everything Star Wars Galaxies should have been.
