Because it's a 2-D beatem up. I will defiantly support it I love 2-D but no I am not throwing 60 dollars at this, just like I didn't with Rayman.

I’m just one of those people who think games should be priced fairly if it’s a huuuge game like Skyrim (uuugh) then yes 60 is a fair price. But if it’s a smaller game then no. I realise I am not explaining myself well but hopefully you understand what I mean. Okay time to wake up.

@Simplythebest12 It's also going to be on current gen consoles, and remember, the game DOES have a cartoony style, so what did you expect? If you want realism to the point that you can't even tell the difference between a game and reality you should stick with movies, because hopefully there will always be games that use a different art style instead of trying to be realistic for no good reason

@DrAmazinDood @Simplythebest12 Agree 100%, why is that some people want ultra high defintion life like graphics? When that becomes the case, then its not really a video game, and won't be fun in my opinion. I think that the graphics engine should be used for more intricate detail in physics, gameplay, etc. Although I think that having life like graphics isn't that important, I think that some games should push the boundaries, as long as it doesn't compromise gameplay, and innovation.

@DrAmazinDood @Deadly_Nemesis I wouldn't personally be inclined to spend $60 on ANY game. Last one I paid $40 for was Muramasa and two weeks later saw it for $20 at another store because it wasn't an instant hit.

This looks like a lot of fun. It's been far too many years since I last played the old Strider. I'll be keeping an eye on this one for sure.

I am concerned about the developer though. Double Helix have delivered an ungodly amount of disappointment in the past. Z-Grade studio at best. I'm giving them benefit of the doubt... for now.
