played the hell out of this, but got burnt trying to unlock the Lightning costume, i have no idea of what crap i have to do. It's a great game engine, just needs more story creativity and more diverse areas.

Why does aya look more and more japanese?

i did enjoy the Parasite Eve games but psp=crap put it on the ps3 the thing may sell

the ending movie isn't a CG movie ....... not like the other square-enix games the only CG videos are2 or 3 videos ( the first episode opening .......... etc) ........................................................................... ........................................................................... and there are some missing rings in the story ..................

Looks great,but cutscenes of a bride taking slugs in the chest and bleeding out through the wedding dress? WTF Japan, let go of the anger!

playing through on hard mode... using the M60 type gun makes it easy up till now, i'm stuck on the Gabrielle boss, made past the first cutscene then it's almost impossible. I'll have to spend lots of time leveling up to beat it on hard.

The game play mechanics are solid, but if they make another game using this engine they need to accentuate the level contrast since she can warp through time. In the second PE game they had the cool motel level with the flamethrower boss, that was classic. They needed to be just a bit more creative with the various levels and time/places she dived to.

Just beat it and the ending is not so bad... they tied in the wedding theme from the original planned cellphone game. I loved this game, the only bad thing is that towards the end it became too much of the same dungeon Babel CORE design over and over again. I unlocked a few costumes on first play through, so there are a lot of weapons to collect, perfect the DNA chip sets for specialized level usage etc. I hope this sells enough to make at least another PSP game, or NGP game when that comes out. Ultimately a PS3 game would be awesome. SPOILER ALLERT: I don't know if i got a different ending since i waited to see what would happen if i didn't pull the trigger?

I've played this game and completed it ......... i was saying it a very good game ( the gameplay is good ) until i finished it and saw the ending .......... it was toooooooooo silly i gave the game 8.0 .................. then when i saw the ending i gave it 7.0 in my opinion the ending is tooooooooooo baaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaad

I'm stuck on a boss, this game can be HARD. 7 hours in... i'm an average gamer so I think it's a decent length so far. Edit: beat the boss, now i'm on the part navigating through the subway area... HARD! i don't use the guide so it's definitely a game where you have to use strategy and figure out how to get through levels, either level up to blow them away, or use the body warp to find a quicker way through etc. I read a lot about people whining saying this isn't Parasite Eve or whatever, either they don't own the game and are judging it by her torn jeans pics, or they are way too picky. This game is true Parasite Eve to the core. GREAT GAME. At $30 if you claim to be a true fan and don't buy then you're opinion is meaningless to this franchise.

I hope we get to see another Parasite Eve game on consoles with the same mechanics we used to from the first two PE games. The only thing this game is lacking is the story, GS score doesn't do it justice imo.

She was always a sex object, but now it's gotten really out of hand. Her jeans make no sense at all.

About the lack of PE powers, well she kind of has that effect... i don't miss it so much because it seems like you get a sense of those DNA powers from a 3rd person attack perspective this time. So it doesn't feel like it's missing.

if she was fighting such creatures, sure her clothes would get torn... get over it. In the old games the graphics were like 2 pixels per character they couldn't even make her look naked if they had tried.

.its almost few hours to release and i still can't wait..funny it get 6,5 in gamespot when halo gets 9,5?!!! i played halo which it really sux ,,when you look at the graphic you can see its look like halo2?!!! but still get 9,5/10 ,,gamespot sux in reviews :/

only thing you can criticize are the camera angles. what third-person view game CAN'T you criticize camera angles???! try it before you knock it... square enix came through for their fans. and as for the main protaganist not having a good character?? you can't dock the score for that... it is a matter of opinion. do you want aya to get crunk when she is part monster??!!!! LMAO!!! C'MON GAMEC***!!

Buy the game, keep Aya alive for a PS3 game.

To those of you who have issues with the reviews, if your mind is already set about getting this game, why criticize the reviews? They don't matter to you after all, because you already liked this game before you have even played it and even if you have played it, you are very forgiving and/or tolerant of any perceived flaws that most reviewers pointed out. That said, Square Enix would greatly appreciate customers like you who ignore reviews and get their games regardless.

I loved PE2 and this one looks ok, but looking at this trailer makes me miss the good old Squaresoft Rpgs of the 90's:/
