I'll always look back with nostalgia at the time I used to play. Started during TBC and quit just towards the end of WotLK, which I believe was the perfect time to stop playing because with Cataclysm they started taking the game in a whole new direction that I wasn't really sure I would like. I doubt I'll ever start playing again, right now with all the changes they've implemented it's probably going to be a whole different experience for me, don't get me wrong - I'm not one to hate change but I feel like the game was at it's best during the first two expansions.

@georgirobot Agree to an extent, into BC (to me at least) it was just all new what ever you did. Into WoTLK, its still shiny- you feel like a boss, down the LK hoopin and hollerin.

Hit Cata, aye its new but I've "done" this. There were moments of brilliance (new undead levelling arc)

Panda land, I was a little jaded. Just couldn't get into it.

Draenor though, it's a different story- If I was to say anything; give it a go and see. Don't be put off by Q times- hopefully they are sorted.

Let the warm fuzzies wash over you! Great series so far. I'm a sucker for acoustic guitars, it was a nice touch.

"Serious enough that we took applications" - wow, much hardcore. You actually INTERVIEWED people for a raiding guild? Such l33t

@The-Techspert My guild was never really the most hardcore of hardcore or popular of popular. But yeah, it was talked about setting some sort of interview for joining if you had the intention to raid, some folk that came in you would think they used there nose to press buttons.

Also you need to weed out the absolute asshats (L33T pricks and the nutters). It's not as mad, or wankerish as you may think.

@The-Techspert Not everyone's been part of a raiding guild... figured it wouldn't hurt to mention that there's structure/process surrounding it. Intention was not to sound l33t. I'm quite lame, actually.

Hmm. The closest I ever came to romance in WoW was having lewd invitations /whispered to my Night Elf huntard.

@CatAtomic999 Myself, I rolled a pally bloodelf tank- dressed provocatively (can't be avoided levelling, everything that drops is a boob tube and mini skirt).

Called her CKtease.

I would then count up the "are you a real girl?" whispers, Once had a bear druid just follow me about for at least an hour trying to be "friends" just would not ****off!

Also used to make a sideline dancing on the ogri bank mail box (I would actually make gold doing this - from strangers).

Thinking back, it made my skin crawl then as it does now. God knows what its like for an actual girl.

Ck tease is now called cojones, a Tauren male pally. May well resurrect her, the creepies went away once female plate stopped making you look like a prostitute.

Is this feature supplanting all Warlords of Draenor "review in progress" for Gamespot?

I'm guessing the review of the expansion is being delayed until this feature concludes? I would love to hear review in progress blogging to get a feel for the experience before I decide to pick it up.

@homied83 It's an MMO you don't dump a review of an MMO a few days after release. There are bugs to fix, content to see, features to test out... I expect we'll get a review in about a week.

I used to serve as a raid leader in a couple guilds over a couple years in WoW. Over those two years, I think I became aware of 4 girls who had a crush on me sight unseen.

I don't have a particularly sultry voice, and I think it's this inferred alpha/power dynamic of managing personalities and being in charge that attracted them. We kept things fun, focused when need be, and owned mistakes. I certainly wasn't flirting with them, and I found it odd at the time.

I played the game as an escape from the boring, club-heavy social circle I was a part of at the time, and wasn't looking for relationships with people from the game. I was just there to game.

But had I known girls that cute were playing, I might have gotten to know these girls a little better!

I meet quite a lot of people playing WoW. Too bad they are mostly Canadians and far, far from where I live. We still email each other every now and then.

From the title image and its dark shader, I could have sworn that the guy was Simon Pegg.

It's crazy how small the world really is. Out of the 40+ servers, both factions you can be apart of, and right time right place I have met tons of people who live in Texas. It's so weird to think about, but I have met some awesome people while playing this game, and a few im really close to.

They're both incredibly genuine/awesome people, I'm super happy that they had the opportunity to share their story for this occasion, and I'm proud to call them my friends. Thank you for including them, Danny.
