Haha O'dwer is the best.

I got in the PC beta. It definitely did not check the boxes for me, it wasn't the game I thought it was going to be. People can use the, "it's just a beta" excuse but let's get real, the game is out next month, that was a trial version of the final product. E3 footage from 2 years ago looks 10 times better than what it did today. I played on mostly Very High/Ultra settings and it didn't look nearly as good as older footage. The shooting mechanics was nothing new, the abilities were cool but overall it just felt like I was playing Gears of War.

Hearing that the console versions will be capped at a max FPS of 30 pretty much decides the fact that I wouldn't even think about picking this up on PS4. Seeing how easy it was to hack/cheat/exploit, pick your favored word, on the PC version leaves me without hope for the game at all.

Just my 2 cents.

You're going to think this is crazy but when I first started the game on PC it looked like I had the settings maxed. Later on by the second time at least I booted up the game I double checked the graphics settings and it looked like more options were available to ramp up the detail so I did then I was actually satisfied with the detail and graphics.

After hearing about what Ubisoft is going to do with the PC version, it's like a kick in the jock. Why are they pulling a Watch_Dogs again? Sounds like they want to kill the PC department altogether. Uplay is why I don't play Ubisoft games on PC anymore, at least their older Rainbow Six and Splinter Cell games don't need Uplay.

I can't really see whats the excitement all about? Remove "tom clancy" and "ubisoft" and not tha many people would really care. All that you're left with is a pretty third person RPG shooter. Also this game is treamendously potend for microtransactions.

You need to play the real thing before making a real opinion. The game is decent regarding gameplay, but I fear that it will be very short and simple if you don't buy DLCs, which makes it a 'no-no' for me up until the point they release a full-DLC version at the same price (eg Destiny's Taken King)...

@livedreamplay: what if nobody's playing by then? These kinds of games tend to be quite expendable.

Can you guys actually put some subtitles, or write an article about it too? People who can't hear is actually forced to get what's being told in the videos from the comment section. (Sorry if there's a written article about it already, but I couldn't find it)

The free roam online mode (or whatever it is) sounds like GTA V Online -- where if/when you meet someone they instantly kill you...just because.

Which is the worst aspect of GTA V, maybe Ubisoft will fix that to discourage indiscriminate killing.

@R3FURBISHED: Wrong, it's not like GTA. You have the innocent type and the rogue type. When you kill an innocent type, you become rogue (you are instantly marked on the map and everyone tries to hunt you down for more points). So unless you want to lose items and points by being killed, you don't kill random people...

@R3FURBISHED: its not as simple as you think, if you kill someone you risk yourself as rogue because people can see you and can kill you killing rogues has no penalty, and when you die as a rogue you lose a lot of dark zone money which is very valuable to buy really good equipment and also experience and your contaminated items, and take into consideration you need to be tactical in some aspects don't just show yourself if you see someone and if it's a group just take cover in a safe place

O'Dwyer seems to have a very negative opinion of the game considering he only spent 4 hours with it. But that seems to be the opinion of people who either haven't played the game or barely played. Despite his negativity, the general consensus seems to be pretty positive.

@Paladin_: yea no kidding all of gamespot just hates the game, it might not be a masterpiece but this game is solid, its gonna be a pretty good game, just not as good as what we were expecting, but yea when you make your mind that something is bad it just stays that way, negative bias

@PETERAKO: The same can be said for every genre of game. Despite the droves of first person shooters on the market, somehow each Call of Duty reviews high even though each iteration barely adds anything new to the genre each year. But then again, it's not always about what new a game can bring to a genre. Sometimes, it's about refinement of said genre and overall fun factor.

The Division seems to have done both of those things pretty well.

@Paladin_: I haven't played it, but I've seen a lot of the gameplay. And my instinct says I won't like it that much. Not like I do Seige. Not tactical enough for me. I felt the same way before I bought Destiny, but I got caught in the hype and felt very burnt.

@wkadalie: I feel you. I'm currently playing Siege with a bunch of friends and it's a great game. I'm also big on RPGs so The Division really appeals to me, too. I like the character customization and how, not only are you not forced to stick with a certain build when creating a character, but your character won't look much like anyone else's with all of the different clothing and armor options. I'm looking forward to its release.

@wkadalie: Ubi pretty much went downhill after the first PoP on Ps2 for me. All of their idea's were either clearly stale or stolen. The first Assassin's Creed was starting to look like an evolution, but they ran the idea into the ground. I won't go as far as to say that they don't make a "good" product, but that's about as far as I go and that's coming from a company that once was pretty awesome. Them and EA are very similar.

HAahahah. "Woohoo! Saving the day!" Well stated, Danny. The whole thing seems interesting. Graphically, EuroGamer did a very...sufficient side-by-side E3 and now comparison. The difference is distinct. It shows.

@matgraff2016: in the disclaimer before the start of the beta they stated that they took out the beginning of the game for the beta. so when the game is released, we wont be starting where we did in the beta. what game have you ever played where they start you off at level 4?

The Division beta was awesome!!! Way better than the Alpha! I was very skeptical about this game after the downgrades and delays, but finally playing a good version made me SO EXCITED for the full release. The Dark Zone is addictive and I cant wait to explore and get to the end game content. The action is very fun, shooting mechanics are amazing, think Gears of War meets Watch Dogs. This Snowdrop engine is exciting. Cant wait!!! and I agree with ricku1967, i don't know what they are smoking but the graphics are amazing, the New York setting in winter is beautiful

i played on PC with ultra settings and it looked awesome, have no clue what this guy in the video is talking about. Does it look like it did 3 years ago? no, but it doesn't look nearly as bad as this guy said in the video. he must be playing on an old CRT monitor or something.

i played over 30 hours the beta and i played all of it alone, i even got the best out of some players that were in a group, and survived as level 5 roguefor almost 25 minutes, completely alone, you need to know how to build your character properly and be smart to survive in the dark zone when you are alone, but you can play alone and have a lot of fun, trust me...

I just wanted to say that I thought the game was pretty darn cool all in all but that they def have to work on a PVP/Douche zone where 'if one wants' they can go rogue and take out one another with a 'No holds' kinda deal BUT that they should MOST DEF put in an area(s) where there's a 'Safe Extraction Zone(s)' where the majority of us good honest respectful players can go without any ability to harm one another...CATCH???!!! Have intense AI wave-like situations at these locations to help reinstill the 'buddy' system that most of us want!!! Thank you for your time

@lareydo: thats the whole point of the dark zone, its a free for all zone. Why would they put in "safe extraction zones"?!?! whats the fun in that? i liked the idea where you cant trust anyone, have to develop eyes in the back of your head. thats the entire draw to the dark zone, without it, you will just have your same old bland PvP zone..no thank you... and there is a "buddy" system in place already. get a group of 4 and have them watch your back as you extract your loot and fight off the "douches" that want to steal your loot. i had a blast hunting down those douches you mentioned :)

Gonna mention this, due to UI design the writing is in an angle, to make it look good the AA is a bit on the extreme side, so I dialed it down a lot and added a bit more sharpening and the graphics started to resemble E3 version. With reshade to pump the saturation a bit and add some tint it will look just fine for me.

@tchanah: Yep, and if you are fast enough you can recover the loot, if the rouge didn't pick it or you have the chance to chase him down. Sometimes people help you other times there are only rogues and better chill until they get bored and leave the area. I guess we'll have to wait for the release to see how it turns out to be. :)

@tchanah: Well, I did like the graphics and the customization, the gameplay was so and so, it might get interesting with abilities and perks, but I'm also concerned about PVP and high level people camping low level areas in DZ. I won't buy it now, Black Desert comes also in march, I might go for it at a later date, maybe on a sale or smth, from what I've seen it needs more polishing and bug fixing and I doubt they have time to fix everything in one month. :)

Dark zone was meh, but I think that's because siege pvp spoiled me. But I had a lot of fun with friends in the one story mission. That said, I'm excited for the PVE missions and the 8 man raid supposedly. Dark zone not so much. Felt too empty that place.
