I love the AC series even AC 3, and went nuts with AC 4.

Two of my favourite things combined, pirates and AC.

The only thing i DON'T like is the multiplayer in the AC series, it ruins the game.

As for Watch Dogs, it's a great game but doesn't furfill the hype that was build around it.

You should have done Xbox One earlier.

Because it would be easier

Watch Dogs has a far steeper learning curve then Assassins Creed. And WD is slower paced as well. WD thus far has been a let down for me. Solid game, just not a 9 or 10 like I thought it would.

@valdarez The narrative was a MAJOR let down, I wanted to bring Aiden through his rise to being an (In)Famous vigilante.

The rest of the game is butter though.

@billfred51 I don't know about hate, but I never got into the AC series. I tried a couple times, including AC4 for PS4, but it didn't take long till I just put it down and never played it again.

Great Show. Great insights.

Games like this might get people excited about learning technology--hopefully for good things.

COMIC RELIEF - The Saints Row 3 & IV and King & Queen.

Everyone else needs lessons.

The Saints kick everybody's ass even the Chicago, Los Santos, Sydney and every where else.

I love Ubisoft. I'll be getting this game this weekend.

Thank you Jess.

ACIV was much better than Watch Dogs.

Watch Dogs seemed like it was an E3 tech demo, and Ubi only started to work on it because everyone loved it--the hype. Maybe it's because they used a new engine. It's not polished and the awful textures produced during the day are just unbearable. I've never been someone who complains about graphics, but it's an eye-soar just the same. Watch Dogs is still a fun game though.

@Devils-DIVISION AC IV was that level thanks to many iterations and user feedback (do you remember how the first AC was?). Watchdogs, on the other hand, has a lot of potential ( and a hell lot of work as well) to reach Black flag's level of polish

That being said Watch_Dogs unfortunately makes a lot of the same mistakes as AC IV. It's such a formulaic, static game, it's a shame. It often just feels like "working of a list of achievements aka side activities". And the visibility of everything on the map and in the menu kills every sense of discovery or "magic" from the very beginning.

And the game lacks some "identity". It's a constant struggle between someone who uses tech for his own good and criticizes the society and other people/companies for doing the very same thing with some strange side stuff and activities which doesn't even fit in the bigger picture...

Watch_Dogs is still fun and the story seems to be pretty solid after the AC IV disaster but it's also a shame that Ubisoft games have become so formulaic, static and "soulless". Not everything in gaming should be about reaching a number or an achievement imo. You should play for the fun of the very moment and not to work off a list to be able to boast about it on the internet... :-|

So, by haters do you mean people who dislike the game for genuine reasons? Why the hell does someone have to be classified a "hater" if they dislike a game series. I used to love this series but it slowly went downhill when they decided to pump out games annually. I believe the story quality deteriorated and the gameplay got old. So am I a hater?

I never got that into Assassins Creed....first game was okay but by around games end I just quit 1 cus I wasn't getting anywhere and 2 cus it was getting super annoying.....

never really bothered with the rest of the series....

Watch Dogs is good cus it takes the best parts of Assassins and throws out the crap, also borrows the best from GTA and throws out it's crap....game plays like a GTA but then goes way beyond what GTA does.....

Late this year when I pick up a PS4 I may get this, assuming it's cheap by then. I can't see paying much for yet another GTA style game with a new gimmick. At least Sleeping Dogs offered a unique atmosphere and great melee combat.

Assassin's Creed... It seems like a game I would really love, especially that it has open world, parkour, cool character design and historical setup. However, I have tried AC1 and 2 and couldn't bother to finish any of them :S i don't know why.

Watchdogs looks more interesting to me though. I'll just wait and see what they do with the PC version.

The crybabies is near endless for Watch Dogs. Does it match the hype? Hell no. Everyone was making this to be the second coming of GTAV or something. It's fun and it is for me playable unlike Assassin's Creed which I just could not get into.

It's ALOT better than GTA IV and the main char is STILL more charismatic than Buloc and that is saying something.

@Kinguard73 Sleeping Dogs is still the best "open world 3rd person action game set in a modern city" game imo. Both GTA and Watch_Dogs are good though... ;)

Skipping WatchDogs.

Wolfenstein looks great with a good story and writing. And I usually avoid FPS.

Watch Dogs was originally named Assassins Dogs Auto. But it was too many words. :) It looks like a cool game. Will get it at some point.

@spartanx169x I think they will merge the two franchises anytime in the future. There were some Blume and CTOS easter eggs in ACIV already. ;)
