My 4 y/o has been watching me play this before bed every night. It's not hard to get choked up on occasion as the game really hits some poignant notes on the meaning of family and adventure as a child. In a way it inspires me to want to make the same memories for my child...and how heartbreaking it will be to grow old and possibly lose my memories and loved ones. It also made me realize that we are beings of reflection...always remembering and idealizing the past. We live to make memories and in the end - all we want is more time, more memories. Never will you hear someone on their death-bed regret not having that high-paying job, that fast car, or that big house. All they want is one more day with loved ones, to fish off that old dock, to tumble through the fall leaves, hold their daddies hand, or to crunch into new fallen snow. To have something like Alzheimer's rob these treasures from us is cruel and terrifying. This game will give you a bittersweet sense of these feelings visually and aurally.
Lovely, the type of game my mom and my sister would like to play or watch me play. Games like this is a great inspiration to us feel playful, write, contemplate nature, and let go the continuous rush that modern life is, and for a time feel like kids again, being curious and experimenting the world around us. Great game! ^^
i love virtual games so much. all times i need virtual games like vitualpilot3Dreview. i also like real life flight simulator like as http://www.virtualpilot3dreview.com/. thanks for this games.
Looks beautiful, game like this, Little Big Planet, Ori, ... can show you can be creative with platformer and not the same thing for over 20 years like others developers (Nintendo)
@Bread_or_Decide: except Chiba robo is not very good or interesting. I enjoy MST Nintendo platformers, but in all honesty Nintendo has gotten a little lazy over the last few years. 2d platformers are too easy for the talent they have working there. So much that they created a game so that we can make our own.(which is awesome though)
Look's like this year version of Ori and the Blind Forest (as in a charming puzzle platformer). It's even going to release in a similar time period. I'm looking forward to it.
Not often I preorder a game but gameplay footage was enough for me to buy Unravel in advance. I really like the look of what they have done with the game and looking forward to having a good play on it.
The first 2 hours are very positive but the review is out one day before its release? That seems a bit odd. Its better than reviewing it after release but for a small game I'd imagine they would want the reviews showing up early and everywhere. No?
I love the visuals of this game, but I've got too many games to play these days, so I'll have to wait a while for this one. Hopefully it's actually a solid game all the way through and it's various gimmicks don't get stale before the end!
@Bread_or_Decide: This was in production way before Yoshi's Wooly World was even released. I think you're butthurt because Unravel looks 100 times better than that game. Seriously, go troll somewhere else.
I think this game looks cool but you need to learn what video is. Don't spend a minute telling me how cute he is - I can see the video, let me make up my own mind.
I'll probably play this game but not because somebody else told me how to feel about it. I can see the interesting unique art style for myself without someone telling me that my heart should be broken for some reason.
