@Beawolf Jshaw71 meant that without the Jack Black the game would be a lot worse, not that Jack Black actually developed/ produced it

DoubleFine's 1st game won Gamespot's award for Best Graphics: Artistic. I wonder if their 2nd will do the same! (I just hope they don't also repeat Best Game No One Played :().

The first three games (That is 1, 2, and RT80s) were comprised of awesome soundtracks that were majority metal. When Activision took over, they took they same path Harmonix took and decided to appeal to a wider audience with crap songs. Just watch the opening movie to this game. That's really how it is. It sucks. Instead of remaking all of these guitar hero games, they should screw the whole formula and go back to what GH used to be. BTW RB2 did have Peace Sells album. FTW

And THIS is why you never give up on Tim Schafer. Looks as good, if not somehow better, than his previous games. And that in itself is just...INSANE P.S.- I never doubted you Tim :)

This game looked iffy at best when I first saw it. This looks like it could maybe turn out to be a classic.

I REALLY want this game to do well and not just because I'm a metalhead, but a gamer. If something like Brutal Legend is a market success hopefully companies will see that unique games are worth putting out and can pull in just as much revenue as the same old sport game/fps that gets recycled every year.

Been waiting for this game for a loooong time and now it's only weeks away!

ROCKTOBER! RAWR! This game drips style and pure unfiltered fun : ) Already played the Demo and loved it. I hope this game does a most awesome job and brings out the crowds so we can see a sequel.

casual vidiots dont deserve this game.... its not for you, its for the metal kids who got screwed over by activision because of what they did to guitar hero. there are going to be a lot of people who pick up this game and just wont understand it, and subsequently put it down or trade it in, but thats ok, becuase this game will ring out as one epic step for heavy metal. Awsome job Tim, I hope you come back to this series again and again.... not for the casual crowd, but for the thousands of metal kids who have been dwelling in there rooms, smoking bongs, headbanging to awsome music, and playing real video games.

This game actually looks fantastic. i wasn't sure about it, but if the gameplay holds up this could be a real gem. The sandbox look almost gives it an MMO feel. Can;t wait to read the reviews on this one!

Seeing stuff like this and seeing where they get there insperation from makes me unable to wait to finnally graduate this year and go to collage to learn how to do this stuff so i can become a gearbox employe :D

@bojan_sokol brutal legend is not coming to PC any time soon. I think EA is going to see the sales and what not on the consoles and if it is well they might transfer it over with a few extra features and what not to the PC.

Seriously, everything I see of this game makes me want it that much more. I'm loving the look of the different groups, and how the landscape revolves around them. The world looks like it's going to be huge, with so much to explore, and because of the fact that each part of the land is based on the different groups, it does seem to have a lot of variety in its landscape, with some very interesting looking areas.

i give it a 10

Brutal Legend is the next Schafer masterpiece. Truly a unique and badass experience. The demo is ace!

Over time, this game has gained my attention. Looks interesting, def worth a rent.
