Skyrim UI is awesome, I have yet to fully experience it, but you have a search bar that works like windows 8.1 search !! you just start typing TO> and you get Torch! among anything else that starts with to' :D

@lozman2k3k @GunEye @Andrak_Vol sorry I have tried this, but it is just bad, and I have done the imaginator tweaks.

It makes Skyrim, looks like jungle skyirm. It is suppose to be a cold place, but it makes it looks like farcry3 on drugs (more drugs than those in FC3).

Colors are off, sky looks bad, night time makes colors pop up and... well.. I will have to pass.

Are you using any good Weather mod? what do you include with it? patches.. compatibility stuff?

@GunEye @Andrak_Vol I had similar issues with bad ENB performance, but check out this new mod on the Nexus, "I cant believe its not an ENB". It adds nice ENB-style visuals with a much lower framerate hit. And it can be used with other lighting mods like realistic lighting overhaul.

I was only just looking at getting the immersive saturation boost earlier this week.

@Andrak_Vol @GunEye yeah.. in the end performance is Skyirm is good. Bethseda made a very good optimizing the game in my opinion. Some things here and there might cause big drops, especially all those ENB's out there, and - as I have tested and experienced - applying Ambient Occulsion through the control panel.

On the other hand, I have read many good things about Ambient Occlusion how it greatly enriches Skyrim's shadowing and sense of real environment.

Therefore I decided to apply AO at Perfromance (not qulaity or high).

I think it adds a great deal.

I also use a small simple mod I recommend:

*Immersive saturation boost* - in the steam workshop

+ *Realistic Nights and Colors - Final* (workshop) (not sure it does much - but it adds just enough touch of color...),

+ Extremely important: for indoor and dungeons: *Realistic Lighting Overhaul*.

+ *Revamp Exterior Fog* - spreads back and far the fogging effect that makes slightly distant terrian appear bluish and more blurry! simple and effective!

I chose Realistic Lighting Overhaul over other total conversion lighting mods, because I read how they really worked how to oherhaul the entire way lights cast shadows, and sources of light affect. Also if youhave light of day outside, you will see it inside some dungeons, starnight, moonlight casting beams of blue light, auroras in the sky from caves. And glowing skeleton eyes in the dark :D.

(but I don't use RLO outdoor option a: it conflicts with CoT, b- it is realyl well made, but makes night up to total darkness)...

You should try it, it gives the Vanilla a nice feel and really starts to look very good. Especially in sunsets, mid days, open areas. And Dungeons look as dark as they should.

with NMM the user has more customization and control whether as steam doesn't let you fiddle around quite as much.
I also have some non-steam games that I mod via NMM. I mod my Civ 5 through Steam however.

I don't know which of the Daedra my computer made a deal with but aside from the occasional crash (primarily when I abuse the console command) my game runs smoothly at reasonable to high fps.

I also have a gtx670 and an i5 witth plenty of ram so I'm wondering if it might be some mods you have, I know a tip I was unaware of awhile back which is critical when moding:

"Never uninstall a mod during a play-through, this can cause all kinds of shenanigans install the mod on a new test character and once happy with it then play with your main"

Oh btw, you only download using NMM? Why won't use Steam Workshop to subscribe and install some modes?

Myself, I have a mix of mostly NMM for special stuff, and the rest subscribed through steam (like pure waters, enhanced blood, sounds of skyrim etc).

As long as those mods are not in Lite version, I don't see why not to use Workshop... but I know some prefer NMM-only...

I thought I will just stick and ztay with the original game plus RLO, CoT, maybe some sturation boost.

What's a really big bummer for me is the Ambient Oculsion, that you can set through Nvidia. Some simple tseak guidea say it make a very big difference on the image quality and shadowing, but for some reason it hits my performance badly. Even though I have investedninto a serious gaming rig (ivy i5 3570k+asus 670gtx + 16gb ram).

Even on Quality or Performance I still lose 8-12 fps, when here are some enemies in the forest.

No idea why...
