This video as well as other cross platform games have reaffirmed my decision to get the Xbox One. I'm really enjoying all the new features and apps and especially the games. Watch Dogs and Wolfenstein coming out in a span of 2 weeks is what I've been waiting for and Sunset Overdrive coming soon is icing on the cake.
I can't blame you for getting the inferior Xbox One. They all look bad. However, you could have saved some money and bought Watch Dawgs for your Xbox 360 instead.
@dpclark @Blazen702 Do you get paid for saying what you just said??? Did you own a ps2? You do know the original xbox was damn near 2x more powerful right? Ok but no one cared because ps2 had great games... Why dont you let the games come out and let someone who wants an xbox one enjoy their xbox one... Maybe he likes XBL better(very valid), maybe his friends all game on Xbox One. Theres NO difference in looks with this game between ps4 and xbox one so calling it inferior is something that really has yet to be ACTUALLY seen.... THERE HAS NOT been 1 game that looks drastically different to sway xbox fans away from xbox. Leave it alone...
@skiggy34 @dpclark @Blazen702 Well, actually there have been plenty of people who mainly played on Xbox now in favor of Sony from the different forums and threads I've read and been on. Not for graphical reasons, as there isn't any major difference as you said, but for other various reasons. I'm assuming Sony has been outperforming Microsoft for a reason, but I'm not into the console wars. I just read what comes up in articles. I play on PC mainly now, no real reason, though being able to use mods like SweetFX on games is awesome. Though, it wouldn't be so bad to have a console, especially for exclusives that are worh it.
@Blazen702 I can't wait till forza horizon 2. That will make me cream my boxers, and the new Unreal tournament, L4D3. Even though I'll get L4D3 on the PC. Gonna be one epic E3. Heard this on a valve forum post, but can't take it too serious. but it was confirmed 10000% that l4d3 screenshots have surfaced on the new source engine.
Left 4 Dead 3 will announced Microsoft Conference coming out this fall 2014 on Xbox One, PS4 and PC
Portal 3 will be announced this E3 2014, scheduled for 2015
Half Life 3 will be announced next year, scheduled to finally release in 2016
Team Fortress 3 will be announced sometime in next two years, scheduled 2016

Always knew they wanted to wait on the new games till the new console launched, was just common sense of them to do.
I've been playing on the iPad companion app and its really annoying when your opponent aborts the match when they are about to lose. This needs to be fixed so some kind of point or award or a penalty is given.
@parkurtommo Oh, and, one more thing: The clutter is a huge deal. Even full structures are different on the PS4, such as cranes, lifts and other such things. They have a lower polygon count and actually lose entire parts! It's crazy!
Ground clutter is a big thing, too, with less physics, lighting, and other things applying all around. I just.. can't even list it all; would take forever. :p
@flaming_in_hd the lighting on the Xbox one looks better do me, the PS4 is over lighted. Like someone is holding a Maglite to the characters, cars, buildings at night.
all I care about is Gran Turismo on the PS4, But I wont hold my breath, the last two have been utter crap visually. Untill then Forza FTW.
I agree, the PS4 version has too much dynamic range which makes it look "flat", particularly during daylight hours. Should be one of those things that can be patched though. Or you could try cranking the contrast on your display waaay up lol.
@parkurtommo Which makes it funny, cause all the PS4 users but me always say "Meh Xbox one is weak" Meh Ps4 is doublt bandwidth blah blah yada f'n yada. Kinda funny they are that close visually, when one is supposed to be the al-mighty.
some people just need to pull the sony balls out of their mouths, and play games to enjoy games in matter what system they are on.
@Liongooder Actually, the extra $10 price hike for console games, even assuming it only applies 1/4 of the time (it's more than that), the subscription fees and other such things add up. Over the course of a console's life span, you spend as much as, if not more than the price it would cost you to build a far superior gaming PC. And this isn't even counting DLC, which is sometimes outright free for PC gamers (look at Left 4 Dead 2 for a general example). And then the community addons/extra maps/etc., which is a MASSIVE thing for most bigger games. Skyrim is a great example of that, as well as the previously mentioned Left 4 Dead 2.
I still love console gaming, but the price is a big misconception. You pay a LOT more money over a console's life span by comparison to the larger amount up front. It's a very worthwhile investment, too, if you can afford it.
It's no contest, really, and it's impossible to refute. It's fact. I've written articles on this very subject to help people out. :)2
@xXSkyrazorXx @Liongooder Kinda funny when you mention that, I made a DUO core PC a year after the xbox 360, and PS3 was released for under $600 (I had some parts left over to use like case, mouse, keyboard, speakers, ect.) And that PC STILL can play a lot of the modern games at better graphics, and FPS If I still wanted to use it. But I moved on and got a new MOBO,RAM, cheap GPU, and i5 CPU Spent a whole $400 NEWEGG FTW) like 4 years back, It's called learn to build a PC, and get parts on sale. And still plays magically and all I need to do in the next year is get a measily $150-200 GPU to last another 2-3 years. The steam sales alone make up for everything, and humble bundle. still have 350 games I havn't even had time to play but got them on sale over the years on sales, and I can without a doubt guarantee you I didn't spent over $400 on those games. Most are AAA games even, with a lot of fun others. I love the $5 game sales of steam.
But then again, I have a xbox 360, ps3, PS4, and Xbox one, and every console ever released before them. I'm a gamer. I play games. If the games come out on PC and are shooters, It's obvious what my choice is. But games are games, I play them all. Some people are missing out by being "stubborn and stuck on one system"
@shawn_john I like that you game on all platforms but you're pc speech is tired. I wish these comparisons would go away. They are getting annoying. I could see if the differences where like Dishonored on ps3/360 last gen. 360's version was sooo much better looking and upscaled to 1080p, PS3 upscaled to 720p. That was an obvious difference as the ps3 had very choppy and jaggy graohics... Thats when they should compare, NOT when all 3 games look exactly the same./.
I play on PC @ 2k resolution with every setting maxed and it looks a LOT better than this. It actually looks like the demos we saw months ago when everybody was blown away. I wish I could show people but you need a 2k monitor to actually appreciate it. Either way, I am thrilled with the results I am getting. As for the hardware - 780ti, i7 2600k, 16gb DDR3 @2000Mhz (yeah, little price but hey it's my hobby lol.)
@jonaadams @vadertherad That would be 1440p. I never understood calling "Ultra HD" 4k, either, considering it's 2160p. They switch the number to the first set in the resolution just to make it sound that much better.
Truthfully, resolution doesn't matter much beyond 720p, although it makes a difference based on how far you sit from your screen and how large it is.
But yes, I agree; PC looks far superior. GameSpot isn't running it on Ultra with an effective PC. That, and video doesn't do it justice.
@xXSkyrazorXx I have to disagree about resolution. 1080p makes a big difference for me, compared to 720p, especially since I upgraded to a large LED widescreen monitor. And simply changing the distance I sit from the screen is not a good substitute!
@xXSkyrazorXx @jonaadams @vadertherad 2560x1440p would be 1440p resolution. 2560x1600 would be 1600p. Technically there is no "K" version of this resolution, it's instead referred to as "WQXGA". I have to respectully disagree with your assessment that there is not much of a difference beyond 720p. Even with no AA on at all, in most games there are almost no "jaggies" what so ever. Edges are more clearly defined and the game just looks a lot nicer in general. Thing is, it is very difficult to show this off unless you have a monitor capable of reproducing the image in that quality.
@natalieyan My video card costs $250. I use an i4-3450 processor, and 16GB of standard RAM with a cheap motherboard, a cheap case and a 750W Corsair power supply. My computer did not cost as much as people are exaggerating.
This game runs on ultra, just fine, at 30+FPS. It runs smoother than the PS4 and looks *WAY* better. This video does not do it justice, at all.
@natalieyan A card that runs this game on high will costs $1000+? You have no idea what you're talking about. There are plenty of cards out there in the $300-600 range that could max this game. Nvidia's new maxwell cards that just came out could nearly max it and they cost $150.
@Master_Overlord @natalieyan Still have to add in the rest of parts mate and a $300 graphics card would barely run this on medium 30 FPS, you would still be better of with the next gen version.
@jayjay444 You would only add in the cost of other parts if they are needed. You only need to swap the rest if they aren't compatible with the card, otherwise, a person can already have all the parts they need. It depends on the persons setup.
@jayjay444 False. $250 GTX 760 and a core i5-3450 processor runs this on Ultra with as stable 30FPS. This includes HBAO+, 4xTSAA and Ultra textures. Not a hitch.
@Tremblay343 @@Azubedo Or we could just not descend into another pointless debate about which little box of plastic and silicon is better? It won't matter whose d**k is bigger ... ahem, whoops, I mean, whose console/PC is better, if the current trend towards ever worse games with ever better graphics continues (a few notable exceptions notwithstanding...)
...by the way, is this game any good? The reviews seem OK, but I've long since learned that reviewers seem to have a knack for finding the good sides of a game while totally ignoring the gaping holes that kill immersion and enjoyability. So, what's the word, enlightened consumers? Worth buying?
@BlindHorse I think it's a -ton- of fun. Just started Act 3 of 5, have been playing nonstop since Tuesday's release. The hacking is simple scripting of the environment like Duke Nukem 3D but being able to interact with every NPC in some way gives it a ton of density unlike GTAV where there was a ton of open space everywhere but nothing to do. The graphics look great on XB1 (which is what I have) and the shootouts are reminiscent of some of the best parts of Uncharted and Gears of War. I wish more situations allowed you to solve them with hacking versus shooting though, but is still great fun regardless. Chicago also looks incredibly beautiful! Much better than GTAV imo, but GTAV was more cartoony in feel so different strokes for different folks...
@jablocanas @BlindHorse I agree, this game is fantastic!! I cant stop playing it neither. It sone of those games that after you complete an objective, you just want to keep going because the story has you intrigued.,...
@BlindHorse @jablocanas Don't fall for the hype it's no where near as good as GTAV but the game dose give you choice between stealth and run n gun which is a nice change, but the story is bad the gameplay is meh i got it on Tuesday and played it for just 3 hours it's that boring.
@jayjay444 @BlindHorse @jablocanas I disagree with you completely. GTA is a great game but I like how this game focuses on stealth and gun play.. I get bored playing GTA, all I do is get chased by cops and never get missions done.
