@kgallis21 @rickphoenixxx Evident you mean to say. Move along, PS4 fanboy spotted. Hey why does this only run at 1080P and 60FPS on the PC btw? Because the new consoles are both crap, and both "weak".
@FighterforJC 1.This is just a shitty port of a console game 2. You have never seen 4K resolution on a top of the line PC. 3. Consoles are fun and casual dumbed down PC's, they are for the value consumer mass market. PC will always be superior but consoles will always be more popular.
Lol? I hope you arent serious. The PC version of this game was garbage. Full of glitches and bugs. A consol will never have the processing power or graphic capability a PC has therefore it could never be better for gaming. Im sorry to say but Consols are cheap versions of a PC for people who cnt afford to build or buy their own high end lean mean gaming machine. Which brings us to the consol like steambox. Which is just a PC in consol form. Sorry to say bro but your ps4 and all its games? Made on PC.
As always the difference is very Insignificant because it's on a Microscopic Level. But the fact is It's a graphical downgraded from what they showed us on E3 !!!!
Eh, I don't care about the topic for this game since I already have it and think it looks pretty decent on the PS4. Some aspects look new-gen, and some last-gen, but overall while it's not the game to make people say "wow, now this is next-gen!" it's competent enough. It runs at a mostly solid 30fps as well, to an extent that it doesn't even matter that it's not 60, which can't be said for most games on consoles that are 30. The only time it really slows down is when you finish a mission and it says the "mission complete" stuff, which lasts only a few seconds.
To the people saying there is no differance , are you blind ? The Xbox One seems to be the weakest and its very close between the PS4 and PC. Look at the trees there is more leafs on the PC/PS4 versions and the objects on the walls and stuff arent as blurry unlike the Xbox One.
For some reason I think the residential areas look breathtaking for instance when Aiden Pearce had to go to his nephew's birthday party - I thought the houses and details were amazing, even the interior was enticing to look at even though it was all in the day time. I think the Metropolitan areas in the day time don't look that good, but while driving I like to drive in first-person view with the dashboard in view to minimize the day's unsightliness. I also have to point out that boat runs are spectacular! Altogether, this game is a beauty. Love getting a close-up on Aiden's "Nemesis" jacket!
if you put it on hd and fullscreen, you will see in the xone version the object edges are flickering as they move like it does on 3rd party nintendo games. the other two versions are kinda more "clean"
@ABIBASS that's true. The bigger the tv i'll say 40 inch and above, you'll see the higher resolution, Anti aliasing, and shadowing, more obvious than while played on a smaller T.V
There is hardly any differences between these three consoles/devices in the graphics department everyone saying the xbox one looks like the 360 graphics and all that nonsense obviously just hate purely on Xbox and don't actually understand the logic behind gaming and consoles etc.
@carbonhdfibre The only difference is PC has water effects, quite nice night lights and anti-aliasing. But the difference is hardly mind blowing. Especially considering the power you need to run it.
The console versions also have anti-aliasing... Obviously the PC can do it better, but the consoles implementation is no slouch. There aren't any jaggies really; the console versions also have water effects, that's probably the best looking part of the game, and same goes for night life looks. So, all that you mentioned aren't really 'different', it's just slightly better if you can get it to run that well.
Although the cutscenes might be rendered in-engine, it's still a pre-rendered cutscene. Cutscenes are the last to be compared, if at all. Please more focus on actual gameplay graphics next time. I know it's harder to sync the footage of every platform, but we get the main idea. For example, a lenghtier scene with Aiden standing in the middle of the road or on a building would do the trick.
@x-2tha-z That's why I don't pre-order pc games anymore. It usually takes a couple of weeks for the game to be optimized and patched enough so you don't need a monster graphics card to run it.
@xsonicchaos @bryuver In any case, this isn't the nextgen for me. I expected more, and very upset that this is a small step for so many years. Not even see no reason to buy the nextgen.
@xsonicchaos @bryuver Yeah the detail in the environments are a HUGE step forward from previous gen. I feel sorry for the people who say "wolfenstein, watch dog's" etc doesn't look "next gen", when to me i notice the detail and the higher frame-rates etc and feel happy about the 8th generation of gaming. Gen 7 wasn't a huge shocker to me for graphics. I've been blown from ps1 to ps2, and now from ps3 to ps4.
@CallMeDuraSouka Come on now. I mean, yes, it isn't the "next big thing" we thought it would be (in terms of visuals), but it still has some pretty good graphics.
Anyone else get to Act II Collateral Damage yet? The shootout in that level is AMAZING! Reminds me of the best of Gears of War, Mass Effect 2 and Uncharted!
