It's based on Castlevania 3. Warren Ellis has been trying to get this made since 2007. Trevor Belmont, Sypha Belnades and Alucard will be the main characters.

I honestly liked the Lord of Shadows trilogy's story much more because of character development, I know it has some screw ups but it was awesome to watch the main character's transformation and on his way to redemption throughout the whole saga. It had much more emotions and drama than the usual Castlevanias.
