For me it's the year I saw the end of the MOBA fever, thankfully. There's not a lot of SP dedicated experiences (that are not tied to a single console), but the excellence compensates for that.

Even if the games with lootbox became 21 over, there is no real limitation to who buys the game.
An example of a 18 over game is GTA5 that is played buy a lot of kids. Is very common to find 10 year old playing the game, and many of those kid bough the game themselves, not their parents.

The only legislation that would do something would be a actual ban on this type of games.

I’m glad we are past the period, at least for now, of ‘needing’ to buy new computer hardware every year or 18 months just to keep the system capable of playing the newest games at the best settings and highest frame rates. PC gaming has shifted to ‘wanting’ to buy or upgrade.

Those memory and SSD prices though...it’s just like the diamond industry. Control what you supply, since you are the only batch of suppliers, and you control the price. It’s mind boggling that my 16GB Corsair kit costs $180 today vs the $100 I paid a year ago.

@mbrogz3000: it's a SATA SSD or a PCIe SSD?
