@ chaosbrigade cutscenes are amazing, MGS4 had great cutscenes and still great gameplay. You can attack the FF franchise but Square Enix got the ball rolling and didn't keep recycling the same rpg elements. I actually prefer WKC in game graphics to its cutscenes.
Actually I just got my hands on White Knight today. Good but already 3 hours in feels repetative. Nice how you can move away from combat but doesn't help if the already engaged in an attack no matter how far your from. Best thing are the combo links that you actually have to manually perform. Graphics look great but characters look like dolls. And yes they don't synch voices, its a shame because the voices themselves are actually really good. Not impressive dialogue but neither do most games except from Bioware that's about it. Plus I gave it a better assumption score than its been getting so why complain. Hopefully the story gets more involved thats what makes rpg's great.
@Ares360 FFXIII is overrated. The character designs are ridiculous and unimaginative, the game is now degraded into nothing more than a long glorified series of spectacular cut-scenes, not to mention its cliche use of contemporary pop music is pathetic. Square Enix may as well make FFXV into a 15 hour long CGI movie loaded with J-pop, that will drive the anime nerds into a mayhem. White Knight, on the other hand, looks very interesting with its online play.
Looks nice but still don't like the dialogue or character voice sychronization. I'm gonna get FF13 instead, but still doesn't look bad deserves an 8.5 minimum.
