It's a 10, every other game sucks compared to it besides Bloodborne, which is the ONLY contender to Fallout 4 for GOTY; TW3 sucked and got boring after a week along with MGS5, Fallout 4 is a gem that one can easily get hundreds of hours out of.

I don't understand the point of these videos. Call me crazy but I'm pretty sure the review itself is supposed to explain the reasons for the score a game received.....

reviews are pretty much 8.8s to 9.5s across the board. GS seems to be dead in the middle of educated opinion on this game.

This is basically fanboys disappointed with the game that were smart enough not to pre-order it vs fanboys that actually bought the game and now feel the need to defend their choice at all costs.

Why don't you just admit the game isn't that good and that 9/10 is very inflated?

Because you guys/girls got paid to lie us, potential customers. F4 is a huge step back in terms of gameplay, story and innovation. F4 is for casuals and console users. UI is terrible, Bethesda ported console UI to PC, lazy Beth. Zenimax and Bethesda made/released an unfinished work. Conversation wheel ? for console. No karma, unlimited levels ( so u cant think witch skill(??) perks to carefully choose, you'll have all perks in the end). Game is to colorful and happy for a nuclear world, to cartoony. And settlements ? Didn't work in WoW with Garrisons, or Wildstar, or SW and in Fallout is a waste of time (anyway mods in FNV were better), FAIL. Survival mode is a joke, I have found 5 or 6 stimpaks in Vault 111 (survival mode) 1 hit to radroach, power armor to soon, no weapon/ armor degradation, no skills, 0 immersion, Dogmeat is OP, unkillable NPCs, cant change Gamma or brightness, pistols occupy half of sreen etc etc etc. For me any many many others this joke of a game is a FAILURE.

Now you don't even have the courage to straighten your back and say it out loud that a game deserve a 7/8/9/10. You simply give out a score to test the water. Then you observe the community's reaction. After that you write an article to explain your point.

I mean, what the F*CK! You didn't include your reason for giving a game a score in the review? What's the point of your review then? Or more specifically, is there a point in writing a review which serve not the purpose of explaining where it belongs on the scale from 1 to 10?

Was looking forward to this game so much. After 12 hours I've gotta say it feels like an 8, when I so expecting a 10 after waiting 4 years for a Bethesda game. Game is good, but doesn't feel like a great game or a classic at all so far. Just feels like the story is subpar for Bethesda, and there's no really exciting new mechanics or anything.

Well the short answer to why Fallout 4 Got 9/10 is the check written to Gamespot cleared.
