Xbox's landmark $7.5 billion acquisition of ZeniMax Media has gone through, meaning that Bethesda's eight games studios are now part of Xbox's first-party stable. It's a huge and exciting move for both Xbox and Bethesda, but what does it mean for Bethesda games going forward?

In the above video, the Console Crew (aka Lucy James, Tamoor Hussain, and Jordan Ramée) analyze the statements put out by Xbox boss Phil Spencer and Bethesda's own Pete Hines, as they tiptoe around the tricky question: Will Bethesda games be Xbox-exclusive from now on?

For 7.5 Billion you better keep that shit console exclusive and PC. Microsoft can also help Bethesda clean up their glitchy crap. That is something that has went on for way too long.

Existing franchises like Elder Scrolls and Fallout will come to Playstation for two reasons: 1) To avoid the inevitable dip in franchise sales from cutting out the Playstation install base, and 2) Microsoft smell big profits and if they can profit from PS game sales or perhaps even PSN, they will.

@bloodbornelore: you do know most PlayStation 4 players will be buying Xbox instead of PlayStation 5. That's the entire point sales won't go down at all sales for PlayStation 5 will suffer
