After playing through Viewtiful Joe 2 I can honestly say it's pretty damned hard. Sometimes it's so hard it just drags on, I recommend playing through the KIDS mode instead of the ADULTS mode, it gets repetitive if you lose too much.

The same graphical style is here since the first one. In fact there seems to be nothing new. But nothing to complain about, it's still gorgeous and colorful.

Voice acting, good. Sound effects, decent.
Time manipulation? Awesome but when you get down to abusing it, well that's how I felt.

Overall it's pretty much the same old stuff with a new character and new villains, etc. Anyways I'll just end this by saying you should give this game a shot, it's pretty fun(ny).
