Viewtiful Joe is truly a fun action game and is done quite well, although its lacking some important neccessities...

Viewtiful Joe is a great addition to the action genre which has been in the need for a good game in quite a while. The story line is ur watchin a movie with your g/f and ur girl gets taken into "movie land" and you go into the big screen to rescue her and you become the new hero. Yeap it is pretty lame and the story line doesnt really get you invovled as much as it could have but who could say no to some serious but kickin action! Graphicly- the game looks great but since your in a 2-d 3-d world your not gonna see anything thats gonna make you say, "wow look at those graphics" cuz hey! its only 2-d. the sound is alright, not too repetitive and yet its not too catchy. although some bosses- i dunno what the hell theyre saying! theyre voices are messed up or something and the voice doesnt match up to their mouth movements. the game has two levels to beat the game with, adult and child. there is a significant difference between the two and its a pitty theres nothing in between. You'd think that after 5 hours of punching and kicking the game would get old but it's not so! it never gets old and is still lots of fun. the only problem is is that on adult the bosses can sometimes get ridiculously hard and theres nothing that really pushes you to beat it. So if your a fan of the action genre and your looking for a game to rock your boat, add this game to your collection! although a better plot and better story line would have made this game more immersive, its still makes a great game worthy of your purchase!
