Viking: Battle for Asgard seems to be cool, when you first watch the opening intro. Then you pick up the controller and play it. If I were to describe it, I'd say it was a clunkier version of God of War, just not nearly as good. When I went to go buy it, even the guy working at the game store advised me not to get it. I still did. Now, I have a horrible action game. I'll admit, I didn't have one bit of fun when playing this game. It does everything wrong. The game also tries to make up for the terrible gameplay with gory combat. They should know that blood and gore doesn't fix gameplay. If you want a good action game, pick up God of War 3. It has good action, platforming, storyline, puzzles, boss fights, and for you violence lovers, Gore. I give Viking a 3.0 out of 10 for lack of anything good. So, I'll let you decide whether to get it or not, but don't say I didn't warn you.
