I started playing Vindictus almost a week ago, and I'm so addicted that I play for maybe 4-5 hours a day, minimum. This game combines classic MMo and RPG elements with amazing, fast paced action, as well as incredible graphics. The Source engine does an excellent job with the physics, and I still chuckle every time I throw a huge piece of granite at a kobold and see him fly away as the object shatters upon him. The entertainment value of this game is incredible, and it keeps you playing just for the sheer fun of combat, even after the current amount of story and battle have been completed. While there are only 3 characters to choose from, each one plays very differently, and I think requires a whole playthrough to itself. And, a new character is going to be released soon, and a fifth will be released before the game goes live.
I am so happy that I stumbled upon an add for this game, because I really haven't enjoyed a game this much for a long time. If you like action games at all, I would say you have to try Vindictus. I mean, have to. And while it is totally free (another reason to try it), I would pay as much as 14.99 a month to play it.
