The original Virtua tennis on the dreamcast was an excellent game that was only bettered by the sequel, the third in the series is more of the same which isn't a bad thing. The game lacks all the fancy shots and nonsense that the latest incarnation of Top Spin give us and instead has a much simpler almost arcade control system that works well without over complicating things. All the game modes (except online) you expect in a game like this are there and all work well. The character creation for the world tour mode however is horrible, it makes what should be a simple task near impossible. The game had stabilty issues, especially for those with ATI cards but this has been fixed in a recently released patch.
Graphically it looks good, nothing spectacular but nice clean and crisp. All in all a good game and well worth buying.
