An average shooter overall, but has its glorious moments

If you start this game, and you play just the first levels, probably you'll be assured this is horrible. That's right, the beginning is plainly bad, ugly graphics, uninteresting story, weak and fake -feeling weapons. OK, but wait. As the story unfolds, and you get new weapons, the levels really start looking good, gameplay starts feeling right, and the graphics, sometimes, can look surprising.
The main character resembles a b-series movie type hero, with no personality, and of course, there is the classical evil doctor somewhere.
Still, as you advance, the game really starts making sense, even if it still remains unconvincing. It actually seems that the developers learned how to make things right as they created the game so the whole experience gets better as you go further in the game's universe. Overall, you can skip this one, but if you don't, and get past the begining, you'll get to like it.
