ftp game with an Item Mall that gone awry if you are not prepared to pay at least 200 USD a month stay away

I started playing this game early January 2007. Back then the game host IGG (Internet Gaming Gate) advertised with forever free to play and they said Item Mall only gave a slight advantage. Which was true one could play the game and compete without spending a single cent.
Meanwhile a couple of updates later we find a game that requires seriously monthly spending if you still want to compete or it is forever free to play a noob.
Major costs are in refining gear. Almost every piece of equipment can be refined these days. The Item Mall sells a large variety of refining items. Funny thing that the game host does not publish the success rate of these items.
Other major setback is the lack of support. This company probably hires cheap labourers from mainland China for live support. Sometimes using the Google English to (simplified or traditional) Chinese translator works best.
Basically this Hong Kong based company runs a scam.
Best avoid any game of this host.
