Overlooking some of the flaws , this ain't such a bad game.

Firstly this is probably one of the best WW2 RTS games ive played, Good visuals and graphics, accurate units and so on , the music is pretty good and adds a touch of emotion to it.

However, Sadly there is a massive amount of flaws, ranging from minor ones to serious ones, One thing that annoyed me is that Germany in 1939 is underpowered and France and the UK are too aggressive (Which is also unhistorical as France didnt do a damn thing to help Poland and the UK didnt do much either apart from provide limited supplies)

And when you get to a battle, the unit controls and so on are brilliant but its overshadowed by the fact that ALL the countries (You can play as 6 of the major countries in total, France,UK,US,USSR,Germany,Italy) Which each have their own units , Although the thing that really sucks is that on the battlefield whenever you move the troops around they all have a rather annoying yankee accent, It wouldnt of been that much effot to have them speak their own language or even sound like their accent.

And the custom battle option on the main menu isnt customized at all, sure you pick the countries and battlezone but you cant pick what the enemys units are! In the campaign obviously not but in the CUSTOM battle , say you wanted some US marines fighting the japanese in the jungle ? Too bad, usually they just spam tanks.

Plus some countries like China are so easy to completely annex and are treated as minor countries with just a few 1000 troops when in real life even in the 40s China's army had millions of men (even if they were underequipped)

Another big bummer is that if your attacking an enemy's capital with a lot of troops in the game usually the game just freezes so the only option is to do auto battle and hope luck turns your way. Bit of a shame considering the makers put a lot into capitals , like with landmarks and so on.

Aside this, the visuals are brill, and the music is good and the majority of the units are and look historical, Its a pretty decent RTS game, Much like a WW2 version of Rome total war.
