This game really does what Godzilla: Save the Earth wanted.

When I was 5, I loved giant monster movies, from Godzilla to Gamera. When I saw this game in my Gameinformer one day, I knew this would be a great game and it was. You get tons of playable monsters, from a giant preying mantis to an alien brain! I liked how the game was mostly aimed at destruction and using the environment to your advantage. First, I remember the thrill I recieved when I killed Congar, the first time I played the game, by crushing him under a building! That was what I thought Godzilla: Save the Earth needed but now, it's all about War of the Monsters. The only flaws are that the bosses can really piss you off and that some monsters seem too unoriginal like the dragon and preying mantis. Other than that, you will love playing against friends as you impale them with spear-like objects, blasting them back with a tank truck (that was the best!), and crushing them under giant buildings. The problem with multiplayer that a lot of times, people will think that you are using cheat codes, just because you are too good. I remember when I was wailing on my friend's monster and he accused me of cheating and threw down the controller and walked away. The music has a good feel to the game and the controls are really easy. Dishing out punishment is amazingly fun and the hit detection is fantastic. To top it all off, the graphics are really good for this game. I love how you can walk over fleeing people and crush them into blood pools. I would recommend to any gamer to buy this game. It makes excellent stress relief and there is always something fun about blasting back a robot with a tank truck. The game excellently does what Godzilla: Save the Earth tried for, but in Godzilla: Save the Earth, tearing down a city as fast you as can in this game is just way too hard. In this game, just fighting can level a building. War of the Monsters was the best fighting game I have ever played.
