A great RTS and a great Wargame

Wargame: European combines both graphic and tactical realism with the portrayal of the cold war period, the game offers an entire array of options and even when played competitively you can tray different tactics without risking too much of a lose, while WEE still allow basic tactics such as spam and rushes it allows for defensive gameplay too, terrain actually brings variants to the battle and the scenarios are kilometers long with all units having realistic range.

Overall the game is excellent, and with Eugen System havind added some nice balance to avoid excesive use of some tactics and some free multiplayer and singleplayer DLC (yes, you dont need a single dollar to get them, neither achievement or anything like that, you even ger a campaign) it has become perhaps the most solid RTS of 2012.

The game has a very active online community and you will always find someone to play with it despict being a RTS and having more than a year outhere, all an achievement in a genre which often suffers of lack of players.
