Does not have the Gamespot score it deserves. Big advances and small tweaks to RTS makes this a great game.

I won't say there aren't things I wouldn't wish to change about it, but I have never played an RTS game quite like this. The sheer fact that they eliminated base-building is a huge step in my mind, because in reality what is the point of building tons of different buildings when you could just have one? It allows for a greater focus on strategy, combat, and focus on capturing points. Aside from simplifying, it also makes advancements in combat and units. Some people talk about how they don't like the single-player---although I disagree, in reality I think that only about 10% of the people who buy the game are out to play the single-player. Multiplayer is perfect, and at the time of this review they just came out with 2-on-2. Something no one talks about very much, is how much Relic works on the game after it has already come out. The are constantly fixing any and all bugs and balance issues, and also adding content such as the 2v2. For anyone who loves strategy, innovation, and extremely competative multiplayer; I highly recommend this game.
