Good thing i rented! i was excited to try the game out, the pic's on the back looked cool along with the one on the front. I started the game knowing gamespot gave it a bad score, but i wanted to try and make the best of it.(gamespot rates a little low i think on games) I tryed the training (that reminded me a lot of half-life's) and i was starting to be impressed. My hopes arose as they fell after the fist level. cool reload animation, definately a plus+, but lack of death animations and lack of a leaning curve (if there is a medium to high learning curve, it mostlikely means the game takes some skill and has replay value, makes for good online playability)but this game didn't have this. Repeated textures and level design left me with much to be desired. A much improved sequel could be nice if they added the following: 1)many new death animations 2)a better selection of levels 3) An online mode that you dont die in after being shot one from every gun!! 4)ability to fly space crafts and 5) less of a run and gun motive, more of a plan you attack and have a learning curve to help with the skill needed to play the game.
