A fire that don't need to be put out.........
PROs: decent look into the newest army in the 40k universe......thats about it for that mess....
CONs: (1) the game was entirely too short, and left alot of the 40K universe out, you could have included some of the other races into the story line by expanding on the number of levels in the game.
(2) attention to detail - or lack there of. there is alot that you read about if you opened the booklet, like the middle rank (the name escapes me) is supposed to be full battlesuit qualified. why wasnt there any of the tau battlesuits in the game? or any of the other nice little toys the tau have for that matter?
(3) technology - the tau are the most advanced race in warhammer 40K . their weapons are supposed to be longer range with more punch than other races. yet the tau based weapons are among the weakest in the game. that just isn't right.
(4) - the last and the most important........the stoyline and voice acting. or lack thereof. the biggest killers of any game is bad acting, or little or bad storytelling. and this game has both of those.....it would have been a little better if someone had taken the time to do an actual tau language.....not some cheesy oriental accents......(it reminds me of the trade federation viceroys in SW ep1)
anyway.....if you feel that you need a waste of time and money.....here you go.
die hard 40k fans feel free as well.......
