Not a great game, but it's a bit underrated.

Fire Warrior isn't exactly innovative, actually, it almost feels as if you're traveling back to the 90's. But that's what i dare say is the best part of the game. It reminds quite alot about the old school shooters like Doom, Wolfenstien and Duke Nukem. They even have the good old colored key system (Which i never thought i would see again.).

Now, this game is by no means great. It's so dated that it's almost funny, but i can't help but to get a bit nostalgic when playing it. Games like this one just aren't made anymore.

Now, the graphics aren't exactly impressive by todays standards, but they are alright by 2003 standards. And they really did a good job on capturing the 40K feeling.

The sound. Not much worth saying about it. It's not good, but it really could be worse. The weapons sounds like toys and there isn't any music. The ambient effects are alright though.

Value? Well, if you find it in the bargain bin, just buy it and give it a try. It's not worth the full price i once paid for it, but i would still consider it a bargain to buy it for less than 10 dollars or so. The campain will probably last you somewhere between ten and twenty hours. The multiplayer mode is probably one of the most dull things i've ever experienced though.

All in all, it's an average game with that old feeling to it. Nice for those of us who kinda miss the old shooters, but it's probably not something younger gamers will be going crazy over.
