Don't let gamespot's 6.0 have you miss out on a great game! Perhaps they're out of touch with the everyday gamer.

Not sure if Gamespot have become such connoisseurs that they can't relate but this is a pretty cool game for 10 bucks. This game has definitely gotten me interested in the warhammer world enough to pick up a book on it. It's a poor man's LOADED which is still definitely tons of fun. The biggest draw back and it is huge, is the inability to team up co-up with someone over XBox live. Still it's 10 bucks and it unlocks a weapon for the upcoming Space Marine. Usually to get something like this you've gotta plop down 5 bucks and gamestop. For 10 bucks you get that plus tons of carnage. I'm not a Warhammer head so I can't give it a thumbs up on how accurate to lore it might be. For me I've always had an interest in Warhammer but committing to the table top is a big investment of time an money. If you want a low budget intro to the gist of the space marines(based on my limited exposure) this seems to do the trick. It may be too easy for some but on the plus side it's a pick up and play game without to steep a learning curve and a time killer that more experienced gamers can play in between their more taxing endeavors. I'm thinking the score should more accurately fall between a 7 to 8.
