Totaly Kick-ass

Every once and a while, a game comes that totally blows you away, for me, this is one of them. This game blew away all of my predictions that it would be just another sucky little RTS. Firstly, victory in this game can be achieved in many ways, one way is by controlling strategy points, critical areas, or the classic destroying your opponents base. This forces you to use strategies that you wouldn't use for a change and takes away the old monotony of destroying your opponents base (although it can sometimes lead to an utter stalemate). What I also loved was how it captures the brutality of the Warhammer 40k universe. Imperial Dreadnoughts pick up enemies, crush their skulls in a shower of blood and trow their lifeless bodies like rag dolls. Banshees dispatch enemies in a bloody onslaught of blades and men spurt out blood as their shot. It creates this great atmosphere that just makes it for me. Although the cut scenes look like crap, their made great by the over the top voice acting. The game also has an interesting story with a great twist. And the in-game graphics look excellent.
