It's probably the best 2D adventure ever made on the GameBoy Color!

Not only does Wario Land II have really innovative gameplay it surprisingly has a really compelling plot. You wake up one morning and all of your treasure’s gone so you have to chase the evil bastards that took all you gold the whole game! Once again the background artwork in Wario Land II is really good for the GameBoy color. The occasional puzzles and boss fights will keep you pretty challenged through most of the game. The main story is a little short, especially if you’re an experienced gamer. But one of my favorite things that they added was the fact that once you beat the main story you can see a map of the levels that shows you the different paths that you can take throughout the game. They make the “level map really cleverly though, for example: in the very first mission you press any button to get out of bed (you wake up and your treasure is gone, remember), but if you don’t press any buttons to wake up, Wario will have a nightmare that will lead to a series of nightmare levels instead of going through the main story. In my opinion the fact that you can go through the game choosing which paths you can take is revolutionary. In conclusion if you own a GameBoy Color or any GameBoy that can play GameBoy Color games, you should definitely buy this game no matter how old you are.
