wario is back....

User Rating: 6.5 | Wario World GC
Not to say that the entire experience is monotonous, quite the contrary in fact, the levels have so much variety to them and are so multifaceted that it could take upwards of 45 minutes to completely and thoroughly explore; the level design is just that good. Hidden throughout the stages are various treasures and items that, while not instrumental to each stages completion, offer an incentive to meticulously vivisect each area. Some items act as heart containers from The Legend of Zelda series and other serve as a means to earn the unlockable GBA mini-games. Each stage has sublevels that entomb the clandestine treasures. While some consist of a simple room with an inane puzzle, others take a page out of last year’s Super Mario Sunshine with some perilous platform stages. These junctions add even more diversity in each stage and make Wario World just that much more enjoyable. At the end of each stage you encounter boss battles ranging from insipid to ingenious; some require button mashing while others necessitate identifying the creature’s pattern and then exploiting it.
