Warpath: Jurassic Park is a 3D fighting game (Like Mortal Kombat) set in the awe-inspiring Jurassic Park Universe. Warpath also happens to be a completely underrated and underscored adventure.

While graphical glitches are common on certain maps, others look brilliant (Such as the Game Trail Level and Mountain Valley and Jeep Road levels). The DInosaur models themselves are wonders to behold, and are all very well animated. The polygon models themselves are also pretty impressive for that day and age.

Sound Quality is mediocre. While the bites, stomps, and explosions sound rather nice, the roars of a few of the animals just sound very underpowered and just not impressive.

Gameplay wise, it actually requires more strategic skills than "Button Mashing". While a few attacks seem to come late, most are actually near spot on. Timing is everything, and with the right timed combo, you can win quick. This time strategy is what makes the game appealing.

The musical score is interesting, and adds flare. The encyclopedia is rather informative, and can spread the knowledge of the dinosaurs, including a few not so well known by the mainstream public Dinosaurs like Suchomimus, Stygimoloch, Crylophosaurus, and Mega Raptor (An actual dinosaur! Just that it no longer classified as a "Raptor".)

Overall, I have actually had a lot of fun with this game, and I'm dissaponted with the reviewer. Of course, that's from '96 or so, but still.

If you yourself may be interested in this Jurassic Park adventure, you may want to borrow it from someone first and then decide if its something worth to keep and beat, as it is a bit pricey on places like eBay.
