Want a Naval Simulator on PS2? Check this out! Mostly because there isn't anything else. But it's a good game too.

Complete control over the design of a battleship, aircraft carrier or submarine. *Big Cheesy Grin* The best part of the game is definately being able to design your ships. The design interface is actually very user friendly. I was a bit surprised. In fact the controls in general are very comfortable. The in-game graphics are a little wanting, especially for a PS2 title, but not horrible. Pictures with text for speech and no actual scenes with a character ever moving, thats what you get in between the action. Repetative sound bytes during the action and a mediocre sound track. I think the main reason the game gets an 8 is the lack of competition. However, even if an absolutely amazing naval sim did show for PS2, I'd still be glad to have played it. It is fun, parts can be EXTREMELY difficult, but the option to turn down(up) the difficulty between missions solves that problem if you are impatient. It is definately worth playing if a naval sim could entertain you. If "naval sim" doesn't get you excited in and of itself though, this title probably won't change your mind.
