HI Everyone,
This is my First review ever, so bear with me as I try to deliver my thoughts in the Shortest way possible.
First of all this Game was one the most anticipated Games since PS4 was announced, the delay to its release was also very frustrating for me and most of the gamers who were following the trailers and Videos of Watch Dogs. So Yes we were waiting for it and Ubisoft did a very good job in raising the Hype behind the game. Out expectations were HIGH...Very High, for me i started comparing Watch Dogs with GTA5....this where everything Started.
I got the game the day it was released and started playing from the get go. For me I like to finish the side quests and missions before deep diving into the main story, as it shows the game soul. So started with the Gang Hideouts, Crime Prevention, Criminal Convoys and Fixer Contracts plus all other blips on the map. Got to almost 35% before even finishing Act 1 and things got BORING with the Repetitive Nature action with no interesting twists or action, then I was subconsciously comparing the Side activities in GTA5 with Watch Dogs.....they were WORLD apart.
Then, I said to myself UBisoft might have actually invested more time in the main storyline which re-directed me from the Side stuff to the Campaign. I don't want to be ahead of myself as i am in mid of Act II, but things are looking GRIM. if things are not going to pick up soon, I might not Finish the Game.
Bottom Line, Ubisoft increased and fueled the Hype to the Very high level that our expectation where near the clouds and the game was not in line with that.
