First off allow me to get some of the bad elements out of the way, the game is only really lacking in the fact that it is missing the drop-in, drop-out co-op that is now commonplace in most games. Other than that minor quibble the game is really quite good.

Disclaimer: The statement I just said may not apply to everyone, this game is not meant to capture the depth and story that made the Watchmen comic famous. This game is strictly about enjoying the spectacle and leaving a trail of broken bodies in your wake.

Now as you may already know this game looks incredibly beautiful, from the amount of detail that the developers put into the costumes to the dark and scum-filled environments. The only place the graphics are lacking is the enemy models, each level will have about four or five different models and they are all you will fight for the entire level. The only other place the game falls down is the friendly AI, no matter how you play or who you play as you will notice that the friendly AI will take out about one or two of the twenty enemies and you have to kill the rest.

Now the AI is not so much of a problem later in the game when you unlock all of your moves, but in the beginning when they have all of thier moves and you have just a few combos this fact is just irritating.

Overall this game is going to appeal to some who can get past the fact that it is not meant to capture the depth of the comic, or allow you to relive your favorite fights in the movie. Watchmen the End is Nigh is simply a high quality beat-um up that will give you an outstanding level of fun for a twenty dollar game.

P.S.- Remember that this is a DLC game and not a full fledged game so keep your expectations adjusted appropriately.
