As other reviewers have already said this is a fast game to play.. It is very simple and once learned provides endless play. It is arcadish in that there is no "end game" sequence, but you try to beat your high score each time. The small maps can last maybe 15 minutes if your adept. A failry simple gameplay with a mixture of strat and RTS (only in combat mode). The graphics are very bright and colorful and the music is very well integrated. There is no storyline besides the info on alien races etc.. but that isn't the point in the game.. It is a retro throwback to traditional arcadish PC games, where gaining the most points is the main objective. If you loved asteroids and milipede among others, you will like the breath of "old school" quality found here.
