Whiplash's humorous approach at telling the story of bizarre machines and animals doesn't help its average gameplay.
Our story follows the strange adventure out of an animal testing company, in the strange company of two very different individuals. Spanx, an enthusiastic weasel, chained to Redmond, an abused and terrified white rabbit.
This unlikely match up embarks on a long and strange journey to dismantle cooperate America, you immediately get thrown into the mix with a humorous cut-scene with an anonymous voice which will visit you frequently.
A lot of the locations in the game do require a bit of thought, but some poor level planning means that at some points when completing a level, you may re-enter a previously completed one without knowing, and have to repeat this several times to achieve the correct level.
The humor in the game vastly makes up for the average gameplay in this platformer although if you are looking for a rent or perhaps a small present, this is overall a good game with no real boss fights and a puzzling ending.
