Better leave this boring game on the shelf!

User Rating: 3 | Who Wants to Be a Millionaire: 1st Edition DS
The game starts with 6 subsequent screens of logo's on the top screen, which you can't skip obviously. If they had divided the logo's over both the screen at least that would've saved you half the time.

Then you pick your language. The English version has some more animations, I think it's the show's actual host that does the voice-over and who is shown talking to you.
Since I'm dutch, I play the dutch version, which is completely stripped of animations, and doesn't have the actual host doing the voice-over.

When you finally arrive at the beginning of the game, you have to choose between one or two players. If you pick two players you just alternate between player one and two, there's no interaction between the two players at all.

The quiz is like on tv, you get a question with 4 possible answers. With each correct answer you get a higher amount of prize money, up to 1 million. If you don't know the answer, you have three options: 50:50 which eliminates two wrong answers, ask the audience and call a friend. Weird detail of the call a friend option: you can pick one out of four friends which all have their own interests, and usually two of your friends are 8- or 12-year-old kids! What's up with that?

The voice over is very repetitive which is quite annoying after a while. Plus, after only a few games I already got a repetitive question, which I then obviously knew the answer to.

The game hasn't got any extra features at all, you can't even enter your name, there's no high-score, no interaction between other players, nothing. It's just a dull quiz that you get tired of pretty soon, which doesn't deserve any recommendation at all.
