Better in a party setting, can be addictive.
However, a few weeks ago, my friends and I starting playing this game as two teams with three people on each, and boy was it fun. The games were short enough that everyone could have a turn without one session really out weighting the others. And, if one turn got longer, we could easily up the amount of time another pair got without it being a massive difference. Plus, with a die as our guide for choosing, it made it a surprise for what we were about to play so no one could say it was an unfair match up.
I wouldn't exactly say this game you should rush out and buy so you can play, there are far better ones out there, but don't just dismiss this one because it isn't a high rating. If you have little kids, or a bunch of friends that enjoy odd games, this can be a big hit.
