This Is The 3rd Part To The Wild Arms Series And One Of The Best. This Game Is Different From The Other Wild Arms Because It Has A Western Theme. During At This Time There Looks Like No Ocean But A Sea Of Sand. It Also Introduces To The First Female Main Character In The Series. Virginia Maxwell Is A Drifter Who Lost Her Mother When She Was Young And Tries To Find Her Missing Father. She Takes Leave On Her Journey After Saving Her Town From A Gang Of Goblins. Her Journey Is Intruded By Three Other Drifters Who All Share A Goal. Finding The Ark Scepter....

I Have Got To Say That This Game Is One Of The Best RPG/Western Games Out There. A Change In The Game Is The MTC And The VIT System. After Every Battle You'd Hate To Use Up A Heal Berry When Ur Low on HP. Not Anymore As The VIT Bar Decreases Itself To Cure The Character. VIT Is Increased When A Character Levels Up And Will Prove Very Useful On Upcoming Boss Battles. The Only Catch Is That There's A Certain Amount To Use Up. The More HP The Character Loses The More the VIT Will Go Down And Will Stay Like That Until You Level Up, Sleep, Or Collect Gems. The MTC System Is Pretty Much A Hated Feature But Also A Good Feature Much Later In The Game. MTC Is The Deal In How Many Times You Can Summon A Guardian In The Whole Game. If The Character Uses Up 1 out Of 1 MTC It Will Remain 0 After The Battle Is Over. Sleeping In An Inn Is A Way To Refill It. You Can Increase The Character's MTC If She/He Uses A Growth Egg But The Problem Is That There Not Many In The Game For All The Charcters. Not Until You Can Purchase Them Much Later In The Game.

If You Remember Wild ARMs 2's Encounter Rate It Was Pretty High But You Had the Option To Accept Or Decline It. Same Goes For Wild ARMs 3 Except There's A Gauge For It And You Can Only use A Certain Amount. (Ugh Really Pissed Me Off).
If there Is A White Exclamation Point Above The Character's head You Can Choose To Press O And Forget About It Or Wait And Let The Battle Commence. In The First 30 min. Of The Game I Would Accept It Just For Level Purposes. In The Second Half You'd Want To Escape Most Of Them Since The Encounter Rate is Pretty High. The ECM Gauge Goes Like This. Depending On The Difficulty Of the Battle There's An Amount Of The ECM Gauge You Use Up. A Battle Against A Group Of 4 Empusa's And You Reject It Can Make You Lose 3 ECM Points. If You Take The Battle And Win You'd Refill 3 ECM Points ( If Any Was Lost).
As The Game Progresses You May Run Into Treasure Boxes That Contain Migrant Seals. Migrant Seal Reduce the ECM Rate Or Battle So Be Sure To Collect Every One You Find. To Refill The ECM Gauge, Win A Few Battles, Sleep At An In, Or Collect Gems That Fill It Up.

Wild ARMs 3 Also Has The Search System In The World Map If You Remember Playing Wild ARMs 2. Unlike The First Wild ARMs The Town You Seek Will Be There But It's Invisble To You Unless You Can Get Directions To That Area. What Also Is Good About This Is That You Can Find Items Buried In The Sand And Possibly Alot Of Gella.

The Personal Skill System Is Back But Now Mediums Supply The Skill You Need. Unlike Wild ARMs 2 You Dont Need To Go To A Shop To Use Your PS Points. You Can Do It Right Form The Menu. And Now A Character Can Equip Up To 4 Mediums For The Better Stats!!!

One Thing That Has Gone Down For This Game Is The Equipment. No More Can The Characters Equip Armor Since The Medium Did It For Them. But You Can Equip A Medium For Stat Skills.

Learning Curve Is 10-20 Min. If You Havent Played The Other Wild ARMs Series. Each Character's Prolouge Has A Tip To Help You Out.

Well This Game Is On The Good Side But Is Also A Bad Game For All The Things Media.Vison Has Changed. None The Less Wild ARMs 3 Will Be An Interesting Game And You Should Enjoy It.
